This time I’m using a poem I’ve never heard of before, and I have no idea what it means, but I thought it could make an interesting visual, when paired with fantasy art.
‘”My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.’
–Ozymandias, Percy Bysshe Shelley
First I tried just the poem by itself. Mostly because I forgot the include the fantasy part, but it was interesting to see none the less.
But I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be a ship or a big rock.
Adding ‘fantasy art’ to the prompt..
That one is definitely not a ship.
Getting a distinct vibe, probably from ‘bare’ ‘decay’ and ‘sands’ etc.
Same thing.
Since the poem does seem to be talking about a person, what if I try specifically ‘Fantasy character art’ instead… and see what this person looks like.
At least it features a character. Definitely follows the vibe.
Desert Viking? That sounds interesting.
I’m not sure it’s got the hang of character… but that’ll do.
Just for fun, lets revisit Sand Vikings.
Just for fun.
