“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,
And a two-edged sword in their hand,
To execute vengeance on the nations,
And punishments on the peoples;
To bind their kings with chains,
And their nobles with fetters of iron;
To execute on them the written judgment—
This honor have all His saints.
Praise the Lord!”
Psalm 149, Verses 6-9 NJKV
Lets put all the above verses into an AI generator… and see what happens.
Not bad, I get it, I do. But I was looking for something, maybe a little more interesting.
Lets hit refresh and see what happens with a few more tries.
Not bad, the second one was better, focusing more on swords than saints, which I don’t mind at all, when it comes to art at least.
Speaking of swords, lets change up the genre to fantasy and see what it gives me then.
Swords and saints, it managed both… interesting.
There were a lot images with this vague configuration. Man on rock with sword. This one had the added glowing bird-ish creature for extra interest.
A few more Fantasy.
Is he holding a candlestick?
And I think those are flying swords… tied in knots, which is weird. AI is fun.
Not a lot of change there, same general vibe. Of all the fantasy ones, this last one is best. I like that the scene is constructed slightly differently, so it seems that he could be against the crowd rather than rallying them.
Anyway, next I tried something different by asking it to make it abstract. It took a few tries before I got something that looked different.
Mostly they were battle like scenes, like so.
But then this weird thing happened. It’s abstract alright…
Tried “sureal” too for good measure.
I get classical French-Roman? Froman?
Before switching back to “Abstract” for a few really good ones.
This last one is probably my favorite. It does look like he’s holding the sword backwards, which is not very clever of him, but looking again, I think it genuinely does have two ends, like Darth Maul’s light saber…. cool.
Also, I didn’t include the one where it looked like Jesus was having a brawl with a full on roman legion. You can probably use your imagination for that one.
